Gambling isn’t the only way to hit the jackpot in Las Vegas. At this year’s NAA Apartmentalize conference, three multifamily professionals won a total of $120,000 at the Apartments.com booth.
Among thousands of entries, Coralynn Plana took home the grand prize of $100,000 in cash.
She was joined by Rae Modlin and Paige Aguilar, who each won $10,000.
Attendees at the event could receive up to three entries in Apartments.com’s giveaway by checking in at the booth, attending a sales demo, and visiting The Brad — an immersive walkthrough experience showcasing the latest tech from Apartments.com.
Regional manager from Las Vegas takes home the $100K grand prize
Wrapping up an Apartmentalize like no other, the grand prize winner was announced at the end of the show on Friday. Congratulations to Coralynn Plana!
Coralynn wasn’t expecting to be a winner. Based in Las Vegas, she is a regional manager for WestCorp Management Group. When her name was announced, she screamed from the crowd and sprinted up to the stage.
“I’m so happy that this happened today,” she said.
10 grand… times two!
Every year at Apartmentalize, an enormous crowd begins to gather at the Apartments.com booth in the early afternoon. In a grand finale before attendees return home, a name is drawn, and one lucky person takes home the enviable cash prize.
But this year, there was a new twist. The Apartments.com giveaway included not just one prize but two. The additional prize — $10,000 in cash — doubled attendees’ odds of winning.
And to ramp up the fun, we awarded two winners instead of one.
The winners were announced on Thursday, just before the show closed for that day.
And the money goes to… Paige Aguilar and Rae Modlin!
Paige Aguilar, a regional property manager at Willow Bridge in Fayetteville, Arkansas, was shocked. “I can’t believe it,” she said, standing on the stage with her $10,000 check.
Rae Modlin — a business manager for The Wyre in Asheville, North Carolina — joined Paige on the stage for her own $10,000.
Lifelong Kenny Chesney fan wins an unforgettable memento
The cash prizes weren’t the only giveaway at the Apartments.com booth this year. In celebration of Kenny Chesney’s concert at Las Vegas Sphere, we also gave away a one-of-a-kind guitar signed by the country star himself.
To win, contestants had to complete the Kenny Chesney lyrics correctly. Lauren Reece, a huge fan, aced the test and beat out four other contestants to win the prize.
She was the only contestant to successfully complete the lyrics to seven Kenny Chesney songs. Lauren secured her spot as the winner by completing the words to Chesney’s 2005 hit “Who You’d Be Today.”
The marketing and training director for Quarterpenny Management has seen Kenny Chesney live over 30 times, knows his lyrics off the top of her head, and now is the proud owner of a guitar personally signed by the country music legend.
