Apartments.com Joins Google Gemini’s Connected Apps

Renters can now browse Apartments.com listings through a new integration with Google Gemini, giving them another way to discover properties within an AI-powered conversation.

Apartments.com is among the first integrations available through Google’s Connected Apps feature. The integration allows renters to browse Apartments.com listing information and property media, including photos, videos and 3D tours.

Renters can also submit leads directly within the Gemini conversation, including calling a property or booking a tour.

To use the integration, renters can add Apartments.com as a connected app within their Gemini settings or tag Apartments.com in a conversation. This allows Gemini conversations to incorporate property information from Apartments.com without requiring users to switch between websites, tabs or applications.

Gemini joins ChatGPT as another major AI platform that integrates Apartments.com listing information. The Gemini integration, which follows last month’s launch of an Apartments.com plug-in for ChatGPT, expands the ways renters can access Apartments.com listings in their rental search.

Earlier this year, a report by SOCi ranked Apartments.com as the most-cited rental listing platform in AI search.
